Cozy Clairemont Haven

This renovation and addition transformed the home to better support a family of four and their dog. The existing garage was converted into a spacious primary suite and indoor laundry room, while the garage was relocated forward to utilize part of the long driveway. Inside, the kitchen and all bathrooms were remodeled, with new flooring and paint carried throughout the home to create a cohesive foundation.

The design embraces warm, organic materials and a timeless palette of neutrals, greens, and earthy tones. Wood cabinetry in both light and dark stains adds richness, while vintage-inspired details such as reeded glass, arched doors, and brass accents bring character and charm. Because this is the clients’ forever home, the finishes remain intentionally neutral, allowing their growing collection of vintage art, ceramics, and heirloom furnishings to take center stage while creating a cozy, welcoming environment for family life and entertaining.
